Taylor Momsen, an American performer, songwriter and actress, is most well recognized as the frontwoman and lead singer of The Pretty Reckless, a rock group. A multi-talented person, she began her journey into the entertainment industry in the age of two. Her life was described as an up and down ride, with constant commitments to work at an early age. She was raised within her Roman Catholic religion, but has since declared that she's no longer religious. Her family is ethnic Germans that came out of the "then" Russian Empire. When she began her professional career as a child acting, she branched into music and modelling. Her name became famous because of her portrayal as "Jenny Humphrey" in the well-known "Gossip Girl" series. The smash debut album by her group, "Light Me Up', also assisted the band gain recognition. She says she is an all-purpose person but her true passion is music. In the end, she has stopped taking part in roles as an actor and concentrates her attention solely to her music career.
